If the environment is right, your dog can look forward to his vacation at our kennel while you're enjoying yours!

Each day your dog will enjoy . . .

Comfy Kuranda bed. These are wonderful beds for a kennel or your home. They are easy to clean, don’t retain smells, and dogs can’t chew’em. Teeth marks are as far as they get!!

Climate controlled rooms. Central air and heat for your dog’s comfort.

Music. Soft background music provides an extra comfort and feeling of being home.

In-the-grass potty breaks. Dogs definitely prefer to go potty in the grass and we would never ask them to go on cement.

Nature walks and/or swims in the lake. Just like people, dogs are healthier when they are taken out for fresh air and exercise. They feel like eating and what goes in must come out – keeping everything working well!

Unless dog personalities conflict, they are always taken out with another dog buddy to romp and play or just do the dog "sniff thing." We have a big yard that is not able to be fenced in so I use tracking lines to exercise the dogs - there is plenty of room to move and no escapes.

Clean room & covered patio area. The room and patio are divided by a plexiglass window/hatch door. It’s great that the dog can see out even when the window is closed during the winter months but then open when the weather is sunny and warm.

TLC and plenty of pettings. I also like to use the exercise time for this. The dogs are happy to be outside and a great time for me to get to know them.

Lots of fresh air. Proper ventilation of fresh air into a kennel keeps things like kennel cough and other respiratory problems under control and doesn’t make them an issue of concern.

What to bring to the kennel?

The vaccination record and a collar your dog cannot slip out of are the only items you need to bring with you for check in. We provide everything else!

CAT BOARDING

Kitty cottages w/window views TLC & playtime.

Our feline guests stay in the office area in kitty cottages. There are lots of windows in the office area for them to enjoy the view or just relax in the sunshine on a sunny day.

When I don’t have folks coming or going, I allow each cat to explore the office on an individual basis and “make the office theirs” by sniffing everything available! We also give lots of pettings, tummy rubs, and TLC to those cats that prefer the attention.

The entire kennel building has central air and heat so your kitty is comfortable no matter what the weather is doing outside.

Because cats can be finicky eaters, we do ask that you supply the amount of food needed for their stay and any treats you may give them. We provide everything else – toys, bowls, and litter box.

Vaccinations: Feline distemper and rabies.
